CENTA FLEX A Model Motive power is transmitted though a high elastic rubber. It is excellent in absorbing vibrations and shocks. Noise of machinery is also reduced. The rubber part is composed of a polygon rubber and aluminum insert inserted at the top, and each part is tightly attached by vulcanizing. Power transmission is accomplished by fixing the rubber body in the hub and flange hub in a radial direction and axial direction respectively by bolts. Especially for a radial directional coupling, a precompressed construction of deformed rubber body enables a power transmission excellent in flexibility and absorbing vibrations and shocks. Rubber parts are available in two types, bolt mounted type (O0) and bayonet mounted type (S0).

CENTA FLEX B Model Elasticity-rich plastic (polyurethane or polyester) is used for the cushioning material as an element. It is excellent in absorbing vibrations and shocks during power transmission. Noise is also reduced. The CF-B-H type with polyester resin excels in resistance to heat and low temperature and has over twice the torsional rigidity of polyurethane resin. Due to the compact and simple design with an element between two hubs, mounting and dismounting are easy. Maintenance is easy as well.

BAUMANN FLEX MF Model By changing one side of the hubs of MM model to a flange, it meets wider application needs. As well as MM-K type, MF model uses material corresponding to S35C for the hub and piano wire for the coil spring.

CENTA FLEX X Model High-quality special plastic material (Zeitel) is used for the cushioning material. It is hard in a torsional direction and has excellent flexibility in bending and axial directions. The O2 type consisting of an element (cushioning material), cylindrical hub, flange hub and fixing bolts and OG type with two elements connected by a floating shaft are available. The OG type can be detached without moving the drive by removing axial bolts.

BAUMANN FLEX MM Model By applying a trilaminar structure to the coil spring part, high torque transmission with compact body is possible. The MM-K type uses material corresponding to S35C for the hub and piano wire for the coil spring. The MM-K-S type uses stainless steel for the hub and coil spring. It is selectable according to the use environment.

TORQ-TENDER It detects an overload reliably and disconnects input and output by detaching the drive key from the groove. When an overload is removed, they are connected automatically with the same torque and indexing position set previously. Torque is set by the built-in torque spring. No fine control is required. It can be also used with both two-shaft butting and wrapping as a flexible coupling. Drive key power transmission allows use in oil. Two types, the TT-01 for two-shaft butting and TT-03 for wrapping, are available. Weight Type A dial is integrated with the inside weight, and it is always at a fixed position by a pendulum principle. When rotating the case, a short hand rotates by decelerating through the inside gear. A short hand indicates 360 deg. x rotation ratio per rotation of the case. A long hand is integrated with the acrylic plate, and it indicates a rotation angle when rotating the case. SD-28/38/53/75 (Indicator Only)A stand-alone model is classified into 28, 38, 53 and 75 according to the outside diameter. The size 28 and 38 is an integrated model with handle that is used by mounting directly on a rotating shaft. The size 53 and 75 can not be mounted directly on a rotating shaft that the design of handle part is necessary. A handle set model is also available. Each type has 1 or 2 indicator needles. The appropriate type can be selected from a variety of products in rotation ratio. SD-53/75 (Combination with Handle)This is a model with satisfactory design and function adding a handle part to the stand-alone model SD-53/75. A large variety of handle outside diameters from 66mm to 250mm are available. A performance of the index part is the same as the stand-alone model. The appropriate type can be selected from a variety of products in rotation ratio. Differential Type By rotating the main moving case, a pinion gear rotates in a circle astride both internal gears that have the same pitch circumference and different teeth number. When the main moving case makes one revolution, a rotation angle differential for teeth number differences of two internal gears is generated. A dial moves for a certain angle to indicate the value at a mark position of the fixed case. SD-50/100 ModelWhen rotating the rotating shaft, the dial rotates in the same direction. A clockwise or counterclockwise type is selected for a dial. A dial without a scale is also available for writing a scale freely. Unlike the weight type, the indicator can be mounted freely in any direction.

BAUMANN MINI FLEX The ZG and LM models are available. The allowable torque is relatively low, yet it has an excellent flexibility. Especially for the LM model full-length long type (LM-1 type), maximum angular misalignment 14deg. is allowed. The hub and coil spring of ZG model are made of zinc alloy and spring steel. Those of LM model are made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel. It is selectable according to the use environment.

SFS Model The SFS model are metal disk type couplings. Carbon steel is used for the body material. Very high torsional rigidity assures accurate shaft rotation and ultra precision control. A single element type with high rigidity, double-element type with flexibility (two elements are used through a spacer plate) and floating type with a flange between double elements are available. Assembly finished or partly-finished product, frictional fastening or key fastening of shaft, or taper shaft correspondence is available for each type.

HELI-CAL A Model It is an integral-structured metal coupling with a single spiral slit in the round material. A perfect integrated construction eliminates backlash. Maximum parallel offset 0.25mm and maximum angular misalignment 5deg. are allowed. The high-strength aluminum alloy material and alumite treated surface ensure a high-corrosion resistance. Two fastening methods can be selected, the set screw method (ARM model) and clamp method (ACRM model).

CENTA FLEX H Model Motive power is transmitted through a polyester resin (Hytrel) that has elasticity like that of rubber. It is excellent in absorbing vibrations and shocks. It also excels in resistance to heat, low temperature and oil. Input and output can be connected and disconnected easily merely by moving axially. By using a unique claming mechanism (CENTA-LOCK), mounting in a spline shaft is possible. Hub and spline shafts are completely fixed by using a clamping hub of the CENTA-LOCK mechanism. No fretting wear is caused. (Clamping hub of the CENTA-LOC mechanism is available by special order.)
